I have something of a black thumb. In my life, I have killed cactus and ivy, roses, african violets and pretty much everything else I have ever planted. Once I even killed my mother's garden when she went away on vacation for a couple weeks in the summer.
I managed to keep these alive long enough to bloom...and then, of course, wished that I hadn't since they made our office smell like a hospital ward. Ewwww.
