Shakespeare in the rain

Yesterday, we went to a Shakespeare Festival. I love outdoor theater, and it was a good time, despite the inclimate weather. I didn't want to take photos during the performances, but I snapped one of the misty landscape during intermission, and a couple of the singers and dancers who provided a brief musical interlude to our afternoon of theater.

A good time was had by all
|
|
Yesterday's party was fabulous. There was good food, and the "drink of the day" was excellent. An impromptu volleyball/badminton court was set up, and we played some rule-less games, including a stationary game of badminton with everyone sitting on the grass. Some of us had a girly interlude and painted our toenails, and those of a willing friend. The games continued until it was too dark to see, and then some. And then there was dancing in the living room and general tomfoolery out on the deck. I had an absolutely awesome time. A big thanks to our hosts for once again opening their home to their lunatic friends! I left after only 6 1/2 hours of partying, so this is where my story ends.
