Gwyd is very difficult to take pictures of, because he is a curious little beast, and as soon as I point the camera at him, he has to come over to investigate. Still, he is a big ball of love, and so cute.

We went to our usual club for their annual Halloween party and marveled at the costumes, both beautiful and grotesque. I was just happy for a chance to wear my new pirate hat again.

Pumpkin Carving

I haven't carved a pumpkin in probably 10 or 12 years, but last weekend I paid a visit to the pumpkin patch with a friend and picked out a few pumpkins. Sadly, 2 of the pumpkins did not make it through the week, so I only had 1 to carve. I could have used a practice pumpkin, cause I was a bit shaky with the knife. Oh well.

Sunday afternoon walk

Yesterday was absolutely beautiful, and I was glad that I had made plans to spend part of the day outdoors, wandering around the Smith College campus with a friend, taking pictures of all of the pretty trees. A much better way to spend the day than sitting on the couch watching bad television.
And yes, Steve, the squirrel picture is especially for you. =)
